3 Days - “Kalaw -Trekking” only for those fit!
This is an experience to know the people who stay was
a popular hill station in the British days, and it's still a
peaceful and quiet place surrounded by pine trees, lovely hill
station of KALAW: and Embark with SunBird on a trek to the worlds of
the Danu and Palaung peoples near Kalaw in the Shan mountains.
Perhaps the beginning of a wonderful friendship and to visit the
mountainous regions´….
1st day: KALAW- LOOK PYIN – CHAR PYIN – BAW NI GONE
Breakfast
at hotel, commence trek to Look Pyin Palaung village (8 km, approx 2
hour), continue trek to Char Pyin Pa O village (2 km, approx 30
min). Lunch stop and continue trek to Nantalete Pa O village (5 km,
approx 1.5 hour), from here finally trek to day destination at Baw
Nin Gone village (1360 m) (3 km, approx 1 hour). Baw Nin Gone
village situates on the Aung Ban - Loikaw road. Dinner and overnight
at local monastery or local home stay.
2nd day: BAW NI GONE – HTI THEIN
Breakfast
and trek to Htut Khaung Pa O village (1370M) (2.5 km) (approx 30
min) and continue to Kone Hla village (1412 m) (10 km, approx 3
hour). Lunch stop and proceed trek to Pauk Tu Pa O village (1326 m)
(7 km), approx 2 hour, proceed to your today destination Hti Thein
village (1379 m) (2.5 km), approx 30 min. From here, you will have a
perfect view of Nyaungshwe plain and Inle Lake. Dinner and overnight
at local monastery or local home stay.
3rd day: HTI THEIN – KYAUK SU – NGUE – THAN DAUNG – INLE LAKE
After
breakfast trek to Kyauk Su (1424 m) (3 km), approx 30 min and
continue trek to Ngue (1228 m), Taung Thu tribe 5 km, appox 1 hour
30 min with a deep up and down with beautiful scenery. Lunch stop
and continue trek to Than Daung In Tha village (915 m) (7 km),
approx 2 hour and finally to jetty 2 km, approx 30 min where you
will meet your boat and transfer to Inle Lake approx 45 min to
conclude this unique experience.

Porters for supplies and equipment are provided.
No climbing, no ropes – yet some narrow, steep, rocky paths.
