Myanmar has good opportunities for both: Culture –
represented by one thousand years of Buddhism. Golf – a
British past-time, the Colonials built the golf courses near
temples and pagodas and used them intensely during their
years in the country. The British left, the golf courses
remained because meanwhile the Burmese had acquired a taste
for the sport. Pan Hlaing Golf Course in Yangon is one of
the best in the Southeast-Asia and Bagan Golf Course is one
of the most beautiful. Round one!
 1st day: YANGON
First round on Yangon Golf Course, built in 1909 by the
British and hence the oldest in the country. For a
“sundowner” we take you to the legendary bar of the Strand
Hotel, the hang-out of famous writers and adventurers
tottering between hope and legend after the third “shot”.
Accommodation: 2 nights
2nd day: YANGON
A day without golf. In the afternoon we take you to the
city’s most important sights such as the indelible Shwe
Dagon Pagoda with its 109 m gold plated stupa scraping the
blue tropical skies. On to the giant Reclining Buddha etc.
etc. etc.
 3rd day: YANGON – BAGAN
Morning flight to Bagan (1 hour), Bagan Golf Course is
expecting you. This 18 hole golf course was built only in
1996. Its singular site is spectacular – with a full view of
pagodas and temples – stunning! Accommodation: 2 nights

4th day: BAGAN
For a change a full day of culture: Visit of the world´s
biggest temple and pagoda complex and more than 1000 years
of history, it will be a fascinating experience. At sunset
we take you to a pagoda - top for a birds-eye view of Bagan.
 5th day: BAGAN – YANGON
The early morning´s highlight: Balloon ride over Bagan –
we make your reservations according to the actual rate.
Afternoon flight back to Yangon.
